No Tropical Development Is Expected This Coming Week Right Into Early November Across The Atlantic, Caribbean & Gulf; Moderate To Major Coastal Flooding Is Expected Through Tuesday Along Florida’s East Coast

Sunday, October 25, 2026 12:01 pm by Rob Lightbown

First Of All Before I Get Into Today’s Update – I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone that has congratulated me on the new job on the “outside world” that I started almost two weeks ago. All of your support has meant the world to me. I also want to thank all of you once again for being a subscriber to Crown Weather Plus. The support you’ve shown has been beyond overwhelming & I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Even though I have started my new job, we are still in a world of extreme financial hurt right now. It’s been one thing after another this year in terms of expenses and finances this year. This includes a significant downturn in income from Crown Weather. It also includes a fairly large increase in all of our expenses, both for the business & for our home expenses. The thought of lack of income and these unexpected expenses has caused me to have almost constant panic attacks.

Right now, my first full paycheck from my new job is not expected to be received for about two more weeks. So until then we will still be dealing with the ever building and mounting outstanding bills & financial pressures.

So, I am humbly asking for your help, if you are able to. I realize and am very cognizant that everybody is struggling big time right now & this is a big reason why I hate emailing this out. If you are able to help us out, it’d be appreciated more than you will ever know.

Now Onto Today’s Weather Update For The Tropics: All is quiet today across the Atlantic, Caribbean and Gulf and there are no areas of interest in terms of potential tropical development. It appears that no tropical development can be expected across the Atlantic, Caribbean and Gulf throughout this coming week right through next weekend. In fact, we probably will not see any sort of tropical development right into at least early November.

Actual weather analysis today reveals that there is a frontal boundary that stretches from near the northern Bahamas eastward into the open North Atlantic to the south of Bermuda. This frontal boundary is producing scattered areas of showers and thunderstorms along it from the Bahamas eastward into the North Atlantic. On the northern side of this front, there are some gusty onshore winds that are occurring from the Carolinas southward through the Florida Peninsula and across the northern Bahamas. Additionally, moderate coastal flooding is occurring along coastal parts of southern Georgia and along the entire east coast of the Florida Peninsula.

The gusty onshore winds are likely to continue from the Carolinas through the Florida Peninsula through at least Tuesday. Additionally, moderate amounts of coastal flooding at the time of high tide are likely to continue along the entire east coast of the Florida Peninsula through tonight. Moderate to major coastal flooding at the time of high tide is then expected on Monday through Tuesday along the entire east coast of the Florida Peninsula.
